Their approach feels like “slash and burn” because it is. It’s not meant to be functional, or in any way helpful, for the majority.

Add Peter Marks forced resignation, the 12 billion dollar clawback in COVID grants and the lackluster response to the measles epidemic, UTAH stopping fluoride and the massive HHS cutbacks— what is the endgame here? Didn’t even mention the vaccine and autism “study “ and the vaccine harm center.

That's pretty much half of what Joint commission standards and CMS conditions of participation are based on - we gonna get rid of NHSN next? I mean, why bother tracking healthcare associated infections, etc.? They just have no idea what they're doing.

To whom can I complain? I live in Vermont. My two senators and one congresswoman are already against such destructive moves.

I call my representatives every so often so it's on their radar, I wish I knew what else to do. I called last week about the 31 million that my state (RI) will lose under the clawbacks.

An absolutely needed agency and healthcare service. But also lost in those NIH cuts and "re-organization" was the Administration for Community Living (ACL), a subsidiary established in 2012 to support disabled and aging people. I ask once again, why are we not talking about the massive attacks on Disabled Americans when we talk about the destruction of Public Health happening?? Disabled Americans of all ages are being hit hard across the board through Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, ADA, Affordable Care Act, Dept of Ed (disabled children), housing, SNAP, virtual work access, and the list goes on. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2025/03/rfk-hhs-acl-community-living-shutdown/

I have said before when commenting on DJT & his deplorable gang of syncophants, I search my lexicon of adjectives to describe their behavior & actions. I could say decisions, however that implies a thought process as to what outcome(s) may result 🤔

The continuing consequences of these ill thought actions is not adequately characterized as tragic!

A recent article referenced DJT's lies as prevarication. Merrimam-Webster lists 'fib' as a synonym for prevaricate...we often say children tell a 'fib', adults should not be given such latitude.

While attending university there was a buddy & to this day we remain friends.

I used to say he "extrapolates the future". Were his assumptions or conclusions predicted upon optimism? I believe that was his belief but as was true then most of his beliefs were not realistic.

DJT may believe his actions are justified but he cannot or will not accept reality.

This experiment is doomed to fail not unlike my school buddy, who discovered halfway through a six hour biochemistry lab session...oops (he wasn't paying attention).

DJT will not have the luxury of a due-over or someone to bail him out, his 'oops' have life altering consequences & yes fatalities 😢

President Musk wants to eliminate as many safety nets as possible. For most Americans, these safety nets are largely invisible and taken for granted. But as we are witnessing with the FAA, tampering with safety will result in the preventable deaths of Americans.
