But seriously, I’m just a big fan. Has he been following the advent of AI in medicine, and what are some hopes and fears as it looms ahead, on a seemingly inevitable collision course with humanism in medicine.
Not that the practice of medicine hasn’t already been thoroughly dehumanized by the healthcare system.
Ask him to comment on the astronomical cost of medical education and the effects on future physicians.
Please ask Dr Gawande, what happened when he was working with Warren Buffet and Amazon to revolutionize healthcare? What were the challenges?
