Florida's Surgeon General if not replaced in the past 18 mo's (?) is the same misguided (being kind) that also did nothing to contain measles infections...OMG
Maybe he's Bud's with the celebrity idiot (once again kind) that is trying to get elected & added sadness the governor drinks the same Kool aid being served up by the afore mentioned idiot...☹️
Although a study showed increased autoantibodies even after mild COVID. Hopefully this doesn't translate to more autoimmune disease over time. Absolutely there are benefits of the vaccines, but even better ones would be helpful. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10120795/
This paper I mentioned referenced a bunch of long covid literature in interesting ways. I still think that long covid is perhaps a pathologic extreme of something that in small amounts (antigen persistence) may have an evolutionary advantage--that is, that our immune systems should remember these viruses. A fascinating topic.
Interesting. Although this study showed autoantibodies in almost everyone who had mild COVID, not just in those with long COVID. Not sure that they are useful in some way, but I guess we just have to wait and see...

It's sad. Apparently he started his career as a reasonable person
Typical misinformation from Ladapo, who has criticized masking and promoted hydroxychloroquine for Covid…
Yeah I always wonder what makes apparently normal people lose the thread.
