Hi everyone,
I’ve been writing Inside Medicine seven days per week for almost 4 months now. I am genuinely enjoying doing this work and your feedback continues to be inspiring and informative. The frequency of my posts allows me to try different things and to cover a variety of topics and angles. I’m learning tons by doing this!
That said, I need to renew my focus the research and policy work that I do. I have some major work in the pipeline with key insights that I believe are extremely important to get out into the public sphere as soon as possible. So I’m considering coming down to 4-5 days per week on Inside Medicine for a while.
Most of your prior surveys indicated that you’d be happy with the newsletter coming 5 or 6 days per week, but not necessarily every single day. (Many of you expressed concern for my wellness and I can’t tell you how much it means to me that so many of you went out of your way to mention that! Y’all are the best.)
Substack metrics are pretty interesting. But I can’t quite sort out what you prefer.
So, I’m asking for your guidance once again…
Thank you so much for taking time to give me your feedback! Lastly, just a quick plug on upgrading. I hope you know how much the paid subscriptions matter. Writing about medicine is as important and rewarding for me as patient care. I literally couldn’t do one without the other and you all are the ones helping me be able to do all of that work. So please know my appreciation to you for supporting this endeavor in general, and by upgrading if you can.
More soon! —Jeremy
