Is the benefit of semaglutide to OA patients direct as the result of some mechanism of the drug, or is it because weight loss inherently helps OA patients?
I answered monthly in the poll because that's my approximate current situation. When my wife and I attended churches that used wine for communion it was weekly plus maybe 10 special occasions per year. Our current church uses grape juice so monthly is the closest answer.
Am 65 and the older I am the less alcohol I can drink without feeling lousy the next day. Was never a big drinker at most 2 drinks a week on a weekend night. Now it’s one drink a week and often feel lousy the next day. Love the slight buzz but suspect it’s soon going to be a thing of the past 🍻
I did alcohol detox (and medical care of my patients) as a PA at a state hospital for 3 years. I happen to also have no interest in alcohol except the taste it adds to a mixed drink- the no alcohol wines, beers, and other substitutes are really coming along which is great for a huge segment of our society. I find having choices now delightful for family and friends. What a great business development.

Alcohol is a hard no for me now!! It messes with my sleep patterns and bowel habits too much for me to bother with it anymore! (F 62)

I drink 6 ounces of red wine a day - the glass is measured. My wife has a small glass of wine or maybe a beer once a week.
