You were missing a choice. I saw totality twice and would see it again, but unlikely to go over five hours just to see the eclipse. I don’t fit into any of those categories.
Seeing totality twice was enough for me, 1979 was somewhat hazy and 2017 was wonderful but can't say I'm addicted.
Interesting update about the Beta-blockers. After my cath lab visit (2020) my cardiologist prescribed them but after a week or so I asked if they were necessary as my BP was fine and he said I didn't need to take them anymore. I assumed they were for BP control and that hasn't been a problem for me but apparently they are for more than just that.
Telehealth has been helpful for me for psychotherapy but prefer my doctor visits in person. I use a mask when inside with many others, not just for reducing respiratory viral transmission (of any sort), but also as a reminder to myself that there is still too much death and disability happening.
Yes there is some question about whether the B-blockers other purposes (controlling rhythm, etc). Anyway, glad your BP is good!
One great thing about telehealth is that the no-show/cancel rate is FAR lower. But I think in person vs telehealth really boils down to the kind of care, the kind of problem, and the patient's status in a number of ways.
Are there patient advocacy or physician groups working to lobby members of Congress to support telehealth options? Or do you suggest contacting the House or Senate committee? What would be the most effective? As someone with a rare disease, access to specialists who may be in other states could be important. Also, some specialists are attempting to find ways to make clinical trials accessible by leveraging telehealth to remove barriers requiring patients to physically come to the clinic when there are suitable technology tools to obtain the data remotely/virtually. Love the “Five on Friday!”
Thanks. Better than if I broke these up into more posts over the week?
I would like it either way. But it’s great to get lots of information all at once.

Yeah I tortured myself over this one because I had to put some time cutoff, but can't put so many options that it's all over the place :)

It's nice to have options, is my main belief.

Good question. I do not know but I assume the AMA is involved. Let me know what you find!
