Thank you for sharing these reminders. It makes me so sad that most people think they are unnecessary. Last Thanksgiving my 75 yo father staged an intervention of sorts trying to tell us that none of this was necessary and “diagnosed” me as being overly anxious (read: crazy) for continuing to wear masks, take tests and try and avoid crowded places. It was a really awful scene. I pushed back but the damage was done. If people don’t want to learn, they won’t listen. Needless to say not looking forward to no one caring about trying to keep everyone healthy this year either.

This is great and an important reminder. Wearing a mask or staying home when sick but still testing negative is a courageous call these days, but with rapid antigen tests often not turning positive until day 2-4 of covid, it’s absolutely rational.

What do you think of nasal sprays like Enovid and those containing iota carrageenan for prevention (grandma AND grandpa 👴🏻)? I think the evidence is not there to trust the nasal spray so much, but I also don’t see much harm in tight situations where masking is social poison.
