The holiday season is officially here! Share the gift of reliable medical and health information! Or, give yourself the gift of a paid subscription at a lower price if you have not already upgraded, because… For the first time, Inside Medicine is having a Black Friday and Holiday Sale!
Yes, I do realize that. This is inherent in any "sale." One person who got something at the usual price pays more than someone inspired by the sale offer. It's just a thing that happens with sales, and I don't know a way around that (other than to not do them).
So, two things. First, for anyone for whom the price is a hardship, I am always willing to make it cheaper (or even free, if necessary), no questions asked. Just email me, if needed. Second, the lower rates *do* apply to any gift giving you may be doing :)
Oh good question. I don't know the answer to that. I think if you cancel your monthly and then immediately re-upgrade to annual, you might double pay on whatever fraction of the month you had remaining (which could be 0-30 days, depending on where you are in the cycle). That said, this is uncommon enough of a problem that, that I'll "fix it" for you manually. Just let me know (via email or here) if you do that and I'll make sure you don't get shortchanged. Thx!
Those of us who subscribe annually can’t get the lower rate

It's just kind of a disincentive: lately you haven't been responding much to comments--which was a large part of why I subscribed
I can't upgrade from my monthly subscription, do I have to cancel the monthly completely?
