Dear Inside Medicine readers,
Things have slowed down for me this week, as I continue my vacation with family. (Hello from Mexico!)
I’ll post a new dispatch tomorrow, but through the weekend, I’m off of the daily routine. We’ll be back to full throttle next week and I’m looking forward to it!
In the meantime, I’d love your feedback on the scheduling of Inside Medicine emails. The caveat is that when there’s breaking news (or analysis that I want to get out ASAP), I often send out a dispatch as soon as I am able, regardless of optimal timing.
With that in mind, as a routine matter…
Thanks for opining, for reading and, as always, for your valuable feedback and support!
~Jeremy
Jeremy,
I assume you are aware of the NFL Player who went into cardiac arrest during the game on Monday night, presumably from commotio cordis. Perhaps you can comment on this. I think the hospital is withholding information unnecessarily, assuming the family has not objected and are missing an important teaching moment
If you send it out late evening, it will be there for all the early AM people when they are ready to read. “Early” AM is subjective and affected by time zones. 😊
