Vaccination in the Crosshairs. Live Q&A today, March 12 P.M. ET with Dr. Paul Offit.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a vaccine skeptic and conspiracy theorist, was confirmed as HHS secretary despite vehement opposition from public health leaders and healthcare professionals.
Now, less than a month after his confirmation, the infectious diseases outlook is grim. A measles outbreak in Texas has led to the death of an unvaccinated child, and cases have increased. Meanwhile, Kennedy reportedly intends to remove several members of the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices over what he perceives as conflicts of interest. Last week, an FDA advisory committee meeting to select the strains for the fall flu vaccine was abruptly canceled without explanation.
One member of that committee spoke out, in Inside Medicine (where we broke the news) and in many other major outlets: Dr. Paul Offit.
Dr. Offit will join me for a conversation on how should healthcare professionals can respond to the mounting threats to public health and stand up for science.
