thank you for this important discussion. I've worked in public health policy for more than 25 years. In the discussion of COVID missteps, the "we did our best" message from Dr. Rasmussen really doesn't fly. That is part of why we are where we are. Admit that we could have done better (as Dr. Offit did) and move on. Stop saying it was hard, we did our best. Public health needs to look at itself more and make corrections.

Now translating some of these unfortunate developments to stories of how diverse vulnerable people can live and stay healthy in this anti-science era.
