New Premium subscriber benefit: audio versions of new articles.
Hello Inside Medicine readers,
Hope you’re having a great weekend. Just wanted to let you know that I’ve added a benefit for Inside Medicine Premium subscribers: audio versions of all new articles. I've done a couple so far. You'll find them embedded at the tops of new articles.
So, if you want the convenience of having new Inside Medicine articles read aloud to you by yours truly, upgrade to Premium if you haven’t already. Stay up-to-date while you’re on-the-go, or as you’re doing stuff around the house. I’m all about multi-tasking. I know I'm not the only one!
Today’s article, “Being Dad, Not Doc. How a doctor tried (and failed) to keep his mouth shut: Part 2” was certainly fun for me to read. I think you’ll enjoy hearing it from me directly.
I'll be doing these audio versions for at least the next couple of months to see how it goes. If it's popular, I'll certainly keep doing it.
Other benefits of being a Premium subscriber include Premium-only articles, access to the Inside Medicine Facebook group where I interview big names in medicine and health, and generally post a little more than what’s in the free articles (extra data, further thoughts, etc.). I also respond to comments and questions more often on the Facebook group. It’s a cool interactive space and the subscribers are a budding community of great people.
While I have your attention, here’s what’s coming up soon in Inside Medicine for free subscribers:
•The FDA will look at Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 6 months and up this week. Finally! I’ll post my thoughts.
•The final installment of the 3-part miniseries series, “Being Dad, Not Doc. How a doctor tried (and failed) to keep his mouth shut.”
•Boosting and pregnancy. Not if, but when. (I promise to publish this soon. I’ve been meaning to get to this for so long and have gotten lots of requests).
Also, open to your ideas on topics you’d like to hear about. Let me know what’s on your mind.
Thanks and have a great Sunday!
Your friendly neighborhood ER doc,
Jeremy
