Biden Voters are more likely to make it to 80 years and $80k.
In medium-to-large counties, people living in the average county that President Joe Biden carried in 2020 have a median life expectancy (at birth) of 78.95 years and a median household income of $65,147.
Meanwhile, people living in the average county that Former President Donald Trump carried in 2020 have a median life expectancy of 77.30 years and a median household income of just $56,695.
On income, the disparity is even greater at the extremes: 22.9% of Biden counties have median household incomes above $80,000 per year, compared to just 4.7% in Trump counties. And counties with median household incomes of $100,000 or more per year? 7.4% of Biden counties and 1% of Trump counties fall into that category.
Life expectancies in Trump counties are more homogenous, but Biden counties still fare better at the extremes.
