Where we live influences many aspects of our fates, including how we are likely to vote and how much money we are likely to earn. Lifespan is also affected by location. Are there differences along voting lines? Yes.

Biden Voters are more likely to make it to 80 years and $80k.

In medium-to-large counties, people living in the average county that President Joe Biden carried in 2020 have a median life expectancy (at birth) of 78.95 years and a median household income of $65,147.

Meanwhile, people living in the average county that Former President Donald Trump carried in 2020 have a median life expectancy of 77.30 years and a median household income of just $56,695.

On income, the disparity is even greater at the extremes: 22.9% of Biden counties have median household incomes above $80,000 per year, compared to just 4.7% in Trump counties. And counties with median household incomes of $100,000 or more per year? 7.4% of Biden counties and 1% of Trump counties fall into that category.
