This goes beyond bad governance. It is deliberate, calculated harm. To cripple the nation’s public health defenses in order to consolidate power and punish perceived enemies is not just reckless, it is evil. And yet millions still support a man whose actions reveal a profound moral corruption. I find myself asking again and again how so many can continue to excuse, rationalize, or embrace this.
My concern is the threat of a biological warfare attack from enemies within or outside. Now that are public health infrastructure has been destroyed this could happen.
You could look any area and see how it will take yrs, decades to undo the damage that's been done in less than a yr. And remember there's still over 3 yrs left! Vote in '26 to at least maybe stop some of the bleeding. It's likely to take at least a generation to get back credible science & med people. Dr Hotez talks about medical hubs to do research, etc fine but how long will funding continue for those hubs? Yes private $$ will be essential for ex what Gates has done BUT as he warned you still need government $$ as well.

If they were worth their salt they would say they are resigning in protest, but they stay on & dutifully smile behind Pres Trump. And senators like Sen Paul are most keen on getting Dr Fauci indicted instead of true oversight on what's happening to HHS. SHAME on the GOP senators who voted for all this. Kind of beyond getting upset at this stage because given the ones leading HHS & the sub agencies nothing surprises me anymore. A real tragedy on lots of levels & people will pay the price in illnesses and deaths.
